Although you've probably dabbled in painting before, you struggle to gain confidence in your abilities or to do justice to your imagination. You always feel like something is eluding you. The creative process remains an adventure filled with twists and turns, conflicts, and above all, learning. Each project brings its own set of challenges, and several gremlins* take advantage of this to increase the level of difficulty without our knowledge and discourage us from persevering (perfectionism, the need for validation, productivity mindset, etc.). Like any good epic story, the journey and the lessons learned matter far more than the final destination.
In this complete creativity course in painting, I will teach you how to prepare for your adventure by building your survival kit, containing all the fundamental tools and concepts needed to use any medium, create an image that reflects your authentic personality, and craft a dynamic and engaging visual experience for your audience. A well-prepared journey saves us a lot of disappointment and wasted time. For creativity to flourish to its full potential, it needs a solid foundation that propels it without imprisoning it, an environment that nourishes it without stifling it, and a flexible framework that guides it without controlling it. Rather than a recipe to follow, I will build with you, through numerous exercises and exploratory activities, your own creative method, giving you the breath you need to navigate the waters, the lands, the stars, and any other dimension you wish to explore.

A loose workshop where I coach each participant personally in the project of their own choosing following their own rythm. I adjust my teachings to the level of each student, make demos on the spot when needed and share my time equally between everyone unless you need less assistance for any reason. A great activity to learn through projects at your own speed while building friendships with other people in the group.
Minimum of participants = 6 / Maximum of participants = 9.
Before buying a loose creative workshop, please reach out to me at info@oopsiehumanart.com to check which date and time are available and are sure to take place. The first workshop in the session in effect is written for each day.

DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN SUPPLIES ?
Yes, nothing is included. I carry with me my own supplies to make demos if needed. So I can lend some things in special cases if I have what you are missing. I also carry with me 2 table easels in case someone needs it.
A supply list will be sent to you along with the service contract once you have been enrolled. If you are not sure what to bring specifically according to your personnal project, reach out to me at info@oopsiehumanart.com
WHERE DOES IT TAKE PLACE ?
In Quebec city, ideally in the community center Claude-Allard on 3200 Av. d'Amours, Québec, QC G1X 1L9, but I do not have priority for the reservation. Therefore, we may be in another community center in the sector Sainte-Foy-Sillery-Cap-Rouge. As soon as I receive the confirmation from the city, I’ll personally inform you.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SPACE WHERE YOU WANT OR IF THERE IS NOT ENOUGH PARTICIPANT ?
To respect the city clauses of the space renting, I will confirm where and if the workshop takes place officially inside 15 to 11 business days before the day of the workshop itself. If I do cancel, you will be refunded fully in the next 10 business days after my notice to you.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANNOT ATTEND AND NEED TO CANCEL ?
Since any cancellation in the 10 buisness days preceding the beginning of the workshop is non-refundable with the city, I have made a service contract that explains it all including the resiliation form that you need to fill in order to cancel the contract. Please, read it carefully and reach out to me for any questions.
